Honoring Jason

Jason Pennington was a passionate student-athlete and outdoorsman who loved lacrosse and exemplified the traits of Team, Accountability, and Grit. To Jason these weren't just words, but guiding principles he personified while inspiring everyone around him to do the same. Jason was a hard worker who balanced AP classes with football and lacrosse at Georgetown High School. Aspiring to become a physician, Jason’s caring nature and drive touched everyone around him. 

To honor Jason and the remarkable life he lived, the Pennington family partnered with Georgetown Lacrosse to create this fundraising event. All proceeds from the Jason Pennington Memorial Clay Shoot will support Georgetown Lacrosse, a 501(c)(3) program for youth athletes, funding scholarships and providing resources to help others thrive in the sport Jason loved so much. 

Jason Pennington’s legacy lives on through the many lives he touched both on and off the field.
